The Associate Director will have responsibility for campaign performance metrics as well as overall business process and network eco-system data as it relates to defining, designing, and interpreting campaign results.
Responsibilities
• Perform ad-hoc and regularly planned analytics assignments and projects in support of the Campaign Management, Client Services and executive management teams
• Interpret campaign performance, including media, creative, strategy and landing page, while providing creative insights and solutions to meet campaign needs
• Complete, supervise and assist in media campaign reporting and analysis
• Ability to analyze systems, processes and data flow, and recognize patterns and areas of inefficiency and opportunity
• Perform both primary and secondary research in support of various projects
• As the primary owners of the campaign dataset, oversee the development and utilization of campaign analytics tools
• Assist in the definition of new tools, opportunities or enhancements for integration efforts to improve the value of the marketing analytic dataset
Required Skills:
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business or other analytic discipline
• 5+ years of related business experience
• Master of numbers and analytical insights
• An independent, extremely reliable person who is capable of running and leading an analytic project, but willing to seek guidance as needed
• Ability to apply statistical analysis methods and techniques utilizing appropriate software tools as needed
• Strong ability to write concise and clear guidance based on insights from performance data
• Strong knowledge of online media metrics and analysis
• Knowledge of advanced analytics packages helpful (SAS, Tableau, Datamine, etc.)
• Familiarity with advertising research and database tools, including Google DCM/DFA, Data Service Providers (Turn, DBM, etc.) Comscore, Nielsen, Datorama and other similar systems is extremely helpful
• Familiarity with general IT and internet technologies as well as online Video in addition to display advertising
• Strong knowledge of advertising metrics and analysis, including online/offline
• Strong business management and operation principles and concepts
• Large advertising agency, ad network or publisher experience preferred
