Senior Director, Corporate (Financial Services), New York
We are currently seeking a Senior Director to join one of Burson-Marsteller’s premier accounts, a leading financial services firm. This person will lead multiple areas of the business that touch a range of B2C and B2B topics including wealth management, commercial banking and institutional investing. The Senior Director will own day-to-day account leadership, senior media counseling, as well as support executive leadership in the development and implementation of an organic business development strategy.
Experience and Skills:
• Ability to lead and drive a complex, multi-million dollar client account
• Adaptability and comfort in a fast pace, complex environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Understanding and ability to develop media strategies (particularly more corporate and business media)
• Effective cross agency relationship management
• Providing senior counsel, strategic thinking and challenging the status quo with clients, senior agency teams and day to day teams
• Ability to source, identify and secure revenue growth opportunities
• Understanding of wealth management and financial services communications
• Skilled in managing clients at all levels, external & internal executives & team members at all levels
• Ability to originate creative program concepts that drive innovation and effectiveness as part of the business
• Experience in converting organic new business opportunities into revenue for the agency
Required
• Minimum of 10 years of previous public relations work experience
• Experience working with financial services clients
• Bachelor’s Degree
