Position Summary
We are looking for a data-driven and creative Product Marketing professional to join our exciting and expanding Product Marketing group. You will be part of the team driving go to market success initiatives and enabling the organization to scale. In this role, you will work with senior leadership teams from marketing, sales, and product to conceive, frame, and articulate compelling value propositions and to develop content in support of product capabilities. This role requires the ability to think strategically and translate market and industry trends, into practical product positioning, collateral, and effective marketing execution.. Duties and Responsibilities
• Create content that articulates Catalina’s vision and capabilities to key prospects, customers and partners.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for each of Catalina’s existing and new products. Plan and drive the launch of new products, features and releases in partnership with Product Management; manage cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Identify growth opportunities and product and feature concepts to support our expanding solution set and entry into new markets.
• Conduct market assessments and develop creative analyses that help identify the scope of the market opportunity.
• Develop and drive programs to frame and track competitive and market landscape. Use insights to inform sales materials, campaigns, go-to-market and launch strategy.
• Arm and empower Catalina’s sales team through training and communication on the value proposition, competitive position, and winning approach of our product offerings.
• Interact with customers, press, and analysts to promote Catalina’s products; own and articulate the value of offering to the market
• Create presentations, customer case studies, product demos, collateral and sales tools.
• Create competitive positioning against the other products and platforms
• Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience creating content for product/solution marketing programs, with at least 1 year of experience in core product marketing.
• Deep experience marketing B2B products within CPG, grocery and drug preferred
• Deep experience of consumer promotions market preferred
• Working knowledge of ad tech and digital media preferred
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, autonomous environment
• Experience in technology driven organizations and working with technologists.
• A strong level of comfort in learning and understanding quickly evolving technologies
• Outstanding presentation, writing and communication skills with a keen ability to translate complex technical capabilities into creative, intuitive content and programs
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within the organization
• Experience in the Retail or CPG space.
• A history of customer engagement, documenting solutions and translating into customer benefits.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and communicate ideas clearly and succinctly.
• A proven self-starter with excellent organizational skills, with a track record of delivering exceptional work product under time constraints
• The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
• The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
