Job Introduction

The role will be as part of the Microsoft team where you will be responsible for the running of the day to day delivery and management of the account, and critical client contact within the UK.
A passion for technology and innovative is vital for success in this role, and in particular an interest in gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry is also key. Since winning the account globally in 2015 the team has built a reputation for consistently producing award worthy work both internally and externally and both Carat and the clients are passionate to continue building on this.
You will be expected to help raise awareness of the UK team as the lead market outside of the US as part of the global Microsoft community. The ability to manage multiple relationships and stakeholders in the US and UK, across creative and media (both client and agency) is key in the ability to deliver this.
OVERALL SUMMARY
The Associate Director is a leadership role as well as a managerial one. The AD sets the working style for the group and is tasked with being a marketing partner for the clients. You will be an expert on the clients’ business and a leader on the business with the clients and within the agency. A key factor of a successful candidate is to demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the media space (including digital media) and available media research. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and solutions on a regular basis and you will set the tone for how the account is managed, by assuring focus on key client objectives and delivering appropriate resources while maintaining profitability.
