Description
POSSIBLE Art Directors are responsible for leading visual development through the various review phases of the creative plan: the design, image acquisition and layout. The Senior Art Director owns the product quality for the discipline and makes a concerted effort to collaborate with the other creative disciplines to deliver the highest-quality product. Besides a proven ability to create award-winning work, the POSSIBLE AD is a thinker, problem solver and conceptual juggernaut. POSSIBLE Art Directors are collaborative and flexible as they juggle multiple projects with ease.
Responsibilities:
• Establish direction and vision which mobilize the design team to meet clearly defined goals.
• Lead the discipline in internal and external client meetings and plans workflow for the discipline across teams.
• Work on concept creation and definition of work for key clients.
• Spend equal time in concept development, research, and review.
• Define what the creative function needs to deliver to achieve client objectives.
• Demonstrate success throughout the business cycle, from new business to planning and execution of client plans.
Skills and experience:
• 5-7 years of experience creating and implementing web design best practices and highly intuitive visual designs and motion media within an interactive agency.
• Strong portfolio highlighting interactive work required.
• Demonstrates strong conceptual abilities and a deep passion and understanding of interactive marketing.
• Demonstrates an ability to coach and develop creative personnel within the discipline.
• Must be results and detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines.
• Thorough understanding of selected technologies including Adobe Creative Suite. Flash experience preferred.
