Job Introduction
We are seeking an Account Director at Vizeum, to be the lead contact on Shop Direct’s Littlewoods brand and another retail client, responsible for delivering innovative and exciting communications plans and outstanding client service. Reporting to a Business Director and leading a team consisting of a manager, a planning executive and an assistant.
Role Responsibility
Shop Direct (£45m) is one of Vizeum & Dentsu Aegis’ most important & innovative clients who we have a truly world class collaborative partnership with. As they use services across the breath of the Dentsu Aegis network, this is a fantastic account to gain exposure to everything the operating model can do and give you the chance to work with lots of different brilliant people in their relative field.
Littlewoods is Shop Direct’s heritage brand and are currently undergoing a transformation to make it more relevant for their new consumers. Whilst they are a fast paced retail business they understand the power of brand and spend significantly in building this. Hence this is a very varied account giving you the opportunity to plan & deliver innovative brand campaigns alongside delivering smart shorter term tactical campaigns. Shop Direct understand the power of data and we are currently working closely with them on how we use data to fuel smarter planning & buying decisions with a Data Strategist part of the core Shop Direct planning team at Vizeum.
To this effect, we are seeking someone with the following skills & attributes:
1. Comms planner with relevant experience
2. Adept at building client relationships and with the gravitas to connect credibly with clients at senior brand manager/head of marketing level
3. Experience in working with cross agency teams effectively
4. Ability to immerse self and team in clients’ business by understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, competitors and relevant partner agencies
5. High attention to detail and can manage and foster great working relationships with the Dentsu Aegis network
6. Experience working across all media channels and ability to plan all broadcast especially digital
7. Passionate about innovation and exploring new opportunities
8. Ability to present confidently and with impact
9. Willingness to inspire and develop direct reports, motivating the team, setting clear direction and provide regular feedback on performance
10. Demonstrate commercial acumen and appetite to deliver internal financial targets, growing revenue and identifying business development opportunities
