Associate Vice President, Market Research - Vancouver
You are a leader, able to offer strong advice support to key client accounts on a variety of research techniques. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships. You possess business development expertise, which will be used in your work with a team to capitalize on research opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Business and Account Development:Prepare proposals, build prospect contact lists, contact/visit prospects, prepare deliverables, deliver client presentations, translate client questions/issues into research needs, day-to-day management of accounts, and develop new ideas
• Client Management:Provide exceptional client service by developing and maintaining close client relationships, negotiate and manage conflict, provide methodological advice, and strategic insight to clients as a key business partner
• Project Management: Manage research projects from beginning to end, including costing, management of internal operations functions and ensuring the successful delivery of end results to clients.
• Research Skills:Design methodologies including higher analytics, create questionnaires and guides, create data analysis plans, write reports and prepare client presentations.
• Mentoring:Provide day to day guidance and coaching to junior team members.
Ideal Candidate has the following Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 7 years of research experience; ideally at least 3 years on the supplier side.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working collaboratively with both internal and external clients, while maintaining a strong team and client service orientation
• Strong team leadership skills with past experience in mentoring and/or managing others.
• Strong aptitude for research consulting with highly developed analytic skills, the ability to think strategically and to provide innovative and creative solutions
• Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
• Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills are necessary
• Experience in the lotteries and gaming sector is an asset
