Seeking motivated, caring and dedicated individual to assist with oversight of workers’ compensation program. Ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in workers’ compensation. Experience can be in area of claims adjusting, nurse case management or oversight of employer work comp programs.
Interacts with adjuster, employee, supervisor, and resort leadership to ensure safe and efficient employee return to work in compliance with Company policy
Assists in the development and implementation of workers’ compensation initiatives and programs to reduce administrative fees and ensure compliance with state statutes
Prepares, analyzes and distributes data related to workers compensation practices to improve performance of program
Acts as liaison for injured employee:
◦ communicates with adjuster, internal work comp team, and resort leadership to advocate for injured-workers’ needs
◦ coordinates use of internal and external resources
Oversees employee survey process after closure of work comp claim to identify trends and areas where improvement may be needed in processes
Supports work comp manager in managing complex claims, state reporting & claim reviews
Supports medical only claims specialist in oversight of claims reporting, establishing internal claim folder, outreach to supervisors and
Able and willing to take on additional tasks & responsibilities as program continues to evolve and expand
Travel up to 10%. Available for On-Call telephonic support up to 30% of weekends/year.
