Company Marketing is seeking a Video Producer to create original video content for its clients and prospects, as well as for internal use. This position is within Private Bank Marketing’s Creative Services Team, an in-house agency responsible for driving the Company brand.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all types of production, including studio and on-location shoots, 1+ person interviews, ad campaigns, interactive, music, animation and data-visualization. The candidate should be a strong conceptual thinker with the ability to prioritize, execute and balance multiple projects at one time.
The Video Producer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of asset development, including scripting, shooting, production and editing/post-production. The Video Producer will, on a daily basis, coach, direct and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, including: Creative Director, Editors, Designers, Marketers, Business Executives and other internal/external stakeholders.
The Video Producer will work closely with the Head of Video to evolve the quality of Private Bank video content to ensure it is engaging and channel appropriate. She/he will also partner with the Video Production Lead to prioritize projects and improve the video production process. At times, the Video Producer will also be responsible for overseeing external production vendors to deliver video projects.
Produce a wide variety of short-form, original video content for use across multiple Private Bank and Company digital channels, including web and social media, as well as for internal and external events
Oversee all aspects of development and production to track with schedule, budgeting and deliverables
◦ Coordinate pre-production logistics, including scheduling the shoot and production resources, scripting and prepping talent/subject matter experts
◦ Coordinate post-production logistics, including transcripts, edits, graphics, and review and approval process
Bring creative ideas to the Private Bank to move the quality of video content forward
Ensure that the Company brand is represented in a consistent and effective way across all video content
Ensure that complex investment and financial concepts are presented in a clear, engaging, channel-appropriate way
Develop video processes and best practices to ensure timely execution and delivery of final assets
Proactive management of project communications to stakeholders, including status, next steps, deadlines, approvals and costs
Assist in the development of video branding elements and guidelines
Help to upgrade our network of providers and partners
Generate video ideas and initiate conversations with Marketing and investment teams
Perform regular marketing competitive analysis for continual improvement
Oversee invoices related to video production
10+ years video production, including supervising the creation of short-form original video, managing teams, liaising with talent/subject matter experts, editing and graphics, budgeting and legal issues
Undergraduate degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Digital Media/Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, or Film and Television
Strong project management skills: proactive, detail oriented, well organized and assertive
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with multiple partners to achieve overall goals
Diplomatic, yet confident about making recommendations on how a message can be conveyed most effectively to the intended audience
Results oriented, with an ability to balance daily and long-range video production needs and goals
Experience managing freelancers, and a personal network of strong video resources that can be called upon
Able to work in fast-paced environment and to drive processes, multitask, problem solve and reprioritize quickly
Familiarity with digital analytics and how they can inform video content strategies
Experience with presenting ideas and being part of creative discussions
Intellectually curious, able to identify trends and incorporate them
Have a passion for “raising the bar”
