We are looking for a full time Warehouse Manager at our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. You'll Manage departments that are responsible for finished goods, consumer receiving, put away replenishment and quality assurance processes.
Essential functions for this role include:
Manage warehouse processes for consumer products
Interview, hire and performance manage associates in areas
Ensure meeting deadlines, contractual commitments, deliveries and/or support of manufacturing areas
Manage and improve flow of material
Supervise, train and evaluate staff
Monitor and audit for compliance with established procedures
Monitor workload in Receiving, Put-away and Replenishment area to ensure incoming/outgoing material is processed in a timely manner
Manage departmental goals and metrics
Ensure training records are maintained for Associates
Develop and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and improve productivity
Perform and fill in for all tasks of the individuals reporting to this position for vacations and absences when necessary
Develop and maintain procedures for the department
Ensure safety is followed in department aligning with company goals
Manage raw material stock to support factory. This includes scheduling, prioritization of inbound product, flow of back-ordered parts, and coordination of parts to storage areas
Manage flow of material from Receiving into primary and overstock locations
Manage replenishment of primary stocking locations from overstock locations
Manage flow of material from supporting departments to ensure
Accept and complete other work-related duties as assigned
Qualified candidates for this role will possess the following education, experience and skills:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations or Material Management from an accredited four year college or Company website possess a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or operations related environment
Demonstrated proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Candidates with APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) Certification and Oracle experience is preferred. Warehouse Management System Rules Generation and Maintenance experience is also a plus!
