Vulnerability Management Architecture Team lead – Secureworks – Remote

The Vulnerability Management Architecture Team Lead heads a dedicated team delivering world class Vulnerability Management services to one of Secureworks’ top enterprise customer.
This individual should be a subject matter expert in vulnerability management tools and processes with a demonstrated ability to transfer that knowledge into innovative solutions capable of operating at scale. Applicants must be able to translate client requests as well as their own initiatives into manageable deliverables and work with the team to deliver to them in an innovative, repeatable and accurate manner.
Responsible for ensuring the team, designs and executes a best in class scanning program
Is regarded by the client as a trusted advisor in regards to evolving trends and capabilities in Vulnerability management
Acts as a mentor to not just the Architecture team but the Vulnerability Management team as a whole in terms of solution design, deployment and especially automation techniques
Learn and adapt to client’s culture, security strategies, security goals, security objectives, and security capabilities
Maintain knowledge of outstanding vulnerability management issues as it pertains to the Client’s Vulnerability Management Service and communicate updates to Client as appropriate
Collaborate with program management and Client teams to create both tactical and strategic plans (establish and communicate a clear vision and ensure short term issues do not overtake strategic goals)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Vulnerability Management
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Qualys
Minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team
Extensive experience with Vulnerability management platforms such as Qualys, nCircle IP360, Rapid 7
Bachelor in Computer Science or another relevant technical field
One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, QSA GPEN, GWAPT, OSCP
Extensive experience with authenticated scanning of large Windows and Linux enterprise environments
Ability to manage multiple individual and group projects from conception to delivery, and interact with members of cross-functional team, reach consensus, and show results
Strong scripting, Database and automations skills
Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and inspire team members
Extensive experience with network and application security testing tools and scripting languages Nessus, Nmap, Paros, Perl and Python
Location: Remote / Charlotte preferred
