Company, named a Top Place to Work, is looking for a VP of Product to work in our Boston office.
We are looking for an inspiring product executive to help lead our business to the next level. The ideal person is a strong customer advocate, understands technology, and has a passion for helping people find clothes and shoes they love and keep.
Manage and mentor a team of product managers and UX professionals who manage product lifecycles from market requirements to product release and adoption including: concept, scope, specifications, design, implementation, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, deployment and maintenance.
Develop KPIs, staffing, budget, and tool suite needed to achieve business objectives.
Lead decision making process around product strategy, including roadmap meetings and finding alignment among key executives and stakeholders.
Define product messaging and positioning, manage the creation of messaging briefs, value definition, personas, and competitive positioning.
Work with your team to translate the vision and voice of Company into a highly engaging and effective suite of web, mobile web, and app experiences / tools.
Understand customer needs and behaviors as well as business objectives, and enable the team to transform that knowledge into product-level roadmaps.

Be the voice of the customer and end user. Actively develop relationships with customers, understand their business goals and pain points and communicate your in-depth customer knowledge
Coordinate with Go-To-Market team to ensure a consistent value story across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of software product management experience in SaaS applications.
Experience with both B2C and B2B business models.
5+ years of experience leading a team of product managers and marketers and UX designers, ideally at an executive level.
Excellent team leadership skills, including evidence of developing other leaders in an organization.
Prior successful collaboration and/or leadership within cross-functional engineering teams, especially internationally-distributed teams.
A Computer Science or Engineering degree is a plus.
History of proven results delivering high quality, customer-driven products designed to create a great customer experience.
Demonstrated experience launching new products, including defining positioning, rollout plans, competitive analysis, and hitting revenue goals.
eCommerce and/or Retail industry experience highly desired.
Exceptional communication abilities to all levels and functions within an organization.
