SUMMARY
Partners with the National Labor Relations CoE to develop and drive enterprise-wide, best-in-class strategies to cultivate a positive work environment and maintain direct working relationships with all employees.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for managing, developing and directing positive labor relations programs and processes. Provides guidance on programs affecting the organization's relationship with its organized employees and their representatives.
• Provides guidance on employment and labor laws, employee relations concepts, leadership development, performance management, organizational development, and compensation philosophy.
• Leads the development and execution of strategies to address union representation campaigns and post-election follow-up.
• Overall responsibility for assessing and coordinating development of action plans to address locations vulnerable to workplace conflicts and organizing activity.
• Provides strategic advice and counsel to division and regional leaders on escalated issues related to organizing 'rumblings' and overall positive workplace practices.
• Drives the development of enterprise-wide, best-in-class training modules on positive workplace practices for frontline employees and supervisors/managers.
• Leads the development of proactive labor communications for frontline and management employees on both internal and external labor-related developments/issues.
• Leads the development of effective enterprise-wide strategies to address potential labor reform.
• Assists in analysis and modeling of Company and union negotiations proposals.
• Travel Required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Extensive knowledge of labor and employment law.
• Knowledge of National Labor Relations Board procedures, including election and unfair labor practice charge proceedings.
• Demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple union election campaigns.
• Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness.
• Demonstrated project management and implementation skills.
• Demonstrated process improvement skills.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
EDUCATION LEVEL
• Bachelor's Degree required. JD or Master's Degree or PHR or SPHR designation preferred
YEARS EXPERIENCE
• 10-15 years progressive experience in Human Resources management and Labor Relations management. Contract administration experience recommended. Strong communication and organizational skills.
