The VP, Global Brand Growth & Marketing Strategy is principally responsible for growth & digital marketing across Company’s internal and external ecosystem. This role will bring together research and real-time insights into a global insights engine to propel action within the marketing funnel to support brand growth, full-funnel marketing, and ensure marketing effectiveness. The VP, Global Brand Growth & Marketing Strategy will drive brand growth through marketing spend allocation, defining the optimal mix between brand and activation for the company, create global company ROI and marketing full-funnel metric benchmarks, and lead MarTech strategy and implementation. This role will lead relationships and drive innovation with Company’s digital marketing partners such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. The role will partner with brand marketing, strategy, finance, digital & experience, product marketing as well as business leaders.
The VP, Brand Growth & Marketing Strategy is a key PEM influencer role pertaining to insights and digital marketing strategy and innovation.
They will be responsible for engaging and communicating with PEM on a regular basis through executive-level presentations, reports and dashboards, which interpret consumer behavior, market growth opportunities/conditions, brand and marketing results, growth & digital marketing, innovations in acquisition and performance tools and strategies, and investment levels.
Collaboration, negotiation, and operational acumen are core elements of the VP, Global Brand Growth & Marketing Strategy role and will play an integral part in influencing internal and external stakeholders towards efforts which drive and improve growth results.
Essential Skills /Experience
Extensive experience with brand planning/marketing strategy experience within the higher education, advertising agency or consumer products industries with demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategic marketing plans, including marketing ROI for large, complex organizations.
Strategic and innovative thinker who has the ability to analyze/interpret data and translate research into actionable results.
Excellent executive-level presentation skills, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated track record of success in managing brands and marketing campaigns to include the full spectrum of deliverables from strategy to acquisition.
Stakeholder and customer relationship management experience with a specific focus on negotiation and influence to drive results
Significant experience managing high performing teams, including managing teams remotely.
Outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills with a high degree of maturity and professionalism
High degree of personal ownership and accountability to consistently deliver results in a fast paced and high-profile environment
Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in a senior marketing leadership position with a large organization with experience in B2B and/or B2C brand management and marketing.
Extensive knowledge of and experience in marketing and advertising with focus on marketing strategy, insights, performance marketing and marketing effectiveness.
Ability to sell ideas up, down and across an organization.
Strong experience within the current media landscape and future media trends
A collaborator, able to bring together cross-functional groups for a single purpose.
Ability to collaborate with and influence senior executives across Company’s ecosystem
