Summary of Position:
Company has an immediate opening for a Vice President, Digital Marketing. This role is responsible for managing digital publicity efforts in support of our theatrical film slate and supporting the Senior Vice President in all other aspects of digital marketing, from strategic planning to social media to technology adoption. Responsibilities:
Lead strategic online publicity and talent/PR social media campaigns across all theatrical films.
Collaborate with internal departments and creative executives to create PR strategies that build awareness and engage target audiences with our marketing messages.
Manage an internal team, as well as online agencies; to ensure marketing goals are met.
Act as primary point of contact with digital media outlets, proactively pitching and securing stories and content debuts, responding to incoming media inquiries and developing media relationships.
Primary contact for digital communications at events including junkets, press set visits, film festivals, premieres, etc.
Experience & Skills:
Strong understanding of online communications, as well as social media.
Robust media contacts.
Minimum of 7 years communications experience.
Excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various groups.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Previous experience working for an entertainment studio preferred.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing.
Experience in managing and mentoring others.
