Overview
Drive operational development, management & execution of creative + manage departmental budgets
Responsibilities
Oversee all operations for creative department, managing production & post production, consistently working to improve production processes
Supervise production & delivery of all creative content currently for 7 E! Channels, Telemundo Africa and others as and when required.
Manage & track department budget, including all post production costs for Marketing & Local Territory requests, always ensure it is up to date, accurate and clear.
Prepare budget estimates for any new projects or ventures as and when required.
Work closely with VP, Creative, on a daily basis to ensure that the whole department, operation and creative, are at all times fully aligned and able to respond to planned and unplanned business needs.
Responsible for department’s administration: new hires, contracts, training & set up of new employees
In charge of promo versioning & re-versioning, as well as languaging/dubbing.
Work hand in hand with E!, Telemundo marketing and digital teams, and other intl. marketing/digital teams where relevant, together with VP, Creative, to deliver on overarching and or individual project/s strategies to maximize effectiveness of all creative elements, particularly on-air and digital.
Evaluate promotion needs based on local programming assumptions and schedules, and determine a yearly and quarterly strategy for each feed/territory.
Manage the team’s staff and technical resources to maximize the quality and quantity of Creative.
Forge strong relationships with local partners and execute agreed local requests while keeping the integrity of our brands globally
Work hand in hand with the local teams & promo scheduling aspect of the Presentation department to determine scheduling strategy, and inventory needs
Work with post coordinators to manage all session scheduling and VO booking for producers ensuring best quality and value are obtained.
Interact with key individuals in Domestic, taking full advantage of their creative and production resources
Remain current with ratings, demographic and related research to maximize the effectiveness of the production, scheduling and placement of all promotional material.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics
Successful track record, strategic and operational, in running a large creative services team, ideally international
Proven experience of managing complex budgets.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in managing and motivating multi-disciplined / teams
Must have in-depth knowledge of promo scheduling systems, engaging external vendors/freelancers and complex material delivery for both on-air and digital.
