Company Entertainment (CNE) develops, produces and distributes video content across all of these brands. The CNE Development Team is looking for a Development executive with a proven track record of creating high quality digital content and strong understanding of the YT landscape. The ideal candidate has a strong creative voice with experience leading creative initiatives and strategy across multiple departments/brands. This VP role will oversee the creative direction of our current development as well as build new creative opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with SVP and Dev leadership to oversee and develop scalable content for all of the Company brands.
- Collaborate with other departments at CNÉ involved in the creative process (Programming, Creative Strategy, Sales, Branded Content) to articulate creative missions and create meaningful content
- Partner with Programming to align efforts between strategic planning and development
- Work closely with team creative leads to further develop and grow our in-house talent
- Work with DCO (Director of Creative Operations) to implement creative processes as needed
- Work with DCO to design and execute creative workshops and programs focused on personal creative development
- Review development slate regularly and advise on any gaps or new opportunities
- Participate in the hiring process for all new development team creators
Requirements/qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in media, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing a team of creative producers
- Creative and strategic executive who is genuinely collaborative and ready to lead
- Excellent track record growing audience, overseeing creative execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once
- Organizational savvy
- Relationship builder
