THE ROLE
To support Dorothy Perkins implement their brand strategy through the coordination of in store graphics.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to develop in store point of sale (POS) materials to promote key product offers
• Brief internal Creative Design teams on print projects with all POS requirements, clearly communicating deadlines and pre-empting any potential challenges
• Create visual merchandising communication packs, using in-design
• Ensure all briefs are produced to the correct specification and are delivered on time
• Successfully co-ordinate all print and props briefs, agree allocations and costs within agreed budget, and coordinate all material required to support successful roll outs
• Conduct regular competitive shops to market wider retail world and develop awareness of competitor visual merchandising activity. Regularly feedback findings and suggestions to wider Visual Operations team.
• Oversee management of the print workflow tool for all Visual Merchandising and Creative team in store graphic briefs
• Liaise between the Brands Buying & Merchandising teams and the Print Purchasing team, to ensure stores receive correct graphics at the right quantities to launch all promotions in store by agreed times. Proactively lead problem solving for any challenges or complications and suggest suitable alternatives to teams.
• Contribute to the Visual Merchandising strategy, support the Head of VM with delivery and execution
• Line management of 2 direct reports, VM Coordinator & VM Assistant. Ensure their development within their roles is managed and encouraged and their objectives are inline the VM strategy
• Work closely with the Brands Marketing team to ensure all graphics are in line with the brands current strategy
• Work closely with the international team to ensure that all print briefs and promotions are communicated to relevant markets
• Seek regular feedback from Store Managers, Area Managers and Regional Controllers on instore graphics
• Build effective relationships with all stakeholders including; Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, Print Purchasing and wider VM team
• Continuously review VM teams working processes and practices to identify opportunities and share with management
MUST HAVES
• Line management experience with strong organisational, leadership and time management skills
• Experience of owning and managing a budget
• Experience of briefing print projects
• Experience of managing very tight deadlines
• Experience of using Print Workflow Tool
• Experience of using in-design
• Strong attention to detail, motivated and driven
• Ability to seek solutions, wok in a fast pace environment and communicate effectively
• Ability to influence & communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to build strong working relationships
