The Senior Video Editor will work across all video desks to conceive and bring to life compelling original video journalism. The ideal candidate has a strong video editing background and can deliver top-notch product under intense deadline pressure.
The Senior Video Editor will:
Work closely with Senior Video Journalists and anticipate their needs.
Cut videos and support the editing of peer pieces, work on enterprise projects, and brainstorm on technical/operational improvements and video strategy, including through insights into how we can increase video views and enhance the company’s brand.
Must also be able to shape narratives and write scripts.
Perform related work as assigned.
May be asked to help teach and guide more junior staff.
Must be able to juggle multiple projects at any given time.
Must have a digital portfolio that demonstrates originality, creativity, and quick-thinking.
Must possess a collaborative spirit and impressive time-management skills.
