Responsible for operating bakery production and/or distribution equipment, including proper machine set up
Monitoring quality and speed of throughput, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting other members of the bakery team where needed (breakdowns, emergencies, etc.)
Monitors quality of product being produced and/or distributed
Wears personal protective equipment as required and provided by the company. Wears appropriate uniform/clothing in accordance with GMP’s/company standards.
Ensures safe and proper use of tools and equipment; ensures hand tools are free of defects; maintains neat and orderly work area
Practices and complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety and other work rules; includes compliance with all regulatory mandates, such as lockout/tag out, electrical safety, confined spaces
Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the SQF system.
Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to work any hours and holidays.
Must be able to work varied shifts.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, squat, twist, kneel, and reach.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines- equipment required will include hair nets, ear plugs, safety glasses, safety shoes.

Participate in daily Huddle meetings

Participate in Gemba walks (supervisors)
Display knowledge and understanding of OEE (overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Display knowledge and understanding of 5s (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustaining)
