As Product Marketing Manager in the US Retail Consumer business you will be in continuing to reinvent the Consumer Personal Systems business. You will help drive business development and product line strategy, innovation and evolution to build a best-in-class line-up for various accounts. Your objective is to profitably grow revenue and profit at targeted rates.
Job Description Summary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
◦ Consumer Desktop and/or Displays product category management and P&L responsibilities for several key accounts:
§ Define, sell-in, communicate and implement product roadmaps, product positioning, and pricing strategy;
§ Define, communicate and manage product offers and promotional strategies in support of US Retail partners advertising campaigns;
§ Launch profitable, Time-to-Market product roadmaps (Core, Gaming, Premium) and manage life cycle through End-of-Life;
§ Constantly monitor the competition's landscape and quickly assess areas of weakness and opportunities;
§ Drive implementation of US Retail merchant requirements into our product roadmaps;
§ Optimize Alliance partner mix across CPU, GPU, Storage type and other technologies;
◦ This role looks at the breadth of Consumer Desktop & Displays form factors, including Gaming systems; All-in-One PCs (Premium & Core); and traditional Towers (Premium/ Creator focused and Core). As such the candidate must:
§ Showcase superior understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.
§ Actively contribute/lead the definition of the category business plan.
§ Establish relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.
Strong product marketing experience in Consumer PCs and/or Displays, preferred experience in PC Gaming. Consumer All-in-One PC experience and skills are also a valuable asset.
Product portfolio planning strengths, as this role leads the creation of the mainstream line-up of “good, better, best” across numerous product form factors.
Strong Category Management skills, P&L acumen and analytical abilities (Excel proficiency critical). Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including presentation skills to senior leadership and customers.
Strong sense of execution and planning, helping manage change when the environment shifts.
Teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and leadership.
Previous experience with US Retail Channel preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study, with 7 years related experience. Master's degree strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel.

Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.
Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing.
Education and Experience Required:
University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Typically 12+ years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.
