US Consumer Analytics: Program Manager
Citi’s U.S. Consumer Bank (USCB) is undergoing a critical transformation to accelerate digital engagement with its 26M+ credit card and 3.5 M+ retail bank customers. To deliver on this imperative, the U.S. Consumer Bank leadership team is building an operating model that will enable granular, timely and relevant customer intelligence driven by always-on campaigns, superior speed to market and systematized design of experiments.
The newly formed U.S. Consumer Analytics (USCA) team, which unifies Cards, Retail Bank, and Digital analytics, will collaborate with the digital delivery, marketing, technology and product teams, to scale this data driven strategy. USCA will drive best-in-class digital analytical sophistication that ingests real-time data, and engages prospective and current customers in a contextual, personalized manner powered by advanced analytics insights.
The Program Manager will be a key member of the ‘Chief Operating Office’ function within USCA and work with cross-functional leadership teams. The role will be responsible to conduct technical and analytical assessments, root cause analysis, feasibility study, and coordinate business improvement efforts to enhance existing business processes and systems. This ideal candidate will be responsible for key engagement interface into all relevant business and functional executive committees and will have in-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to (Across all US Consumer Bank):
Provides transformation strategy, program and project management and execution to all the US Consumer Analytics organization’s critical functions
Manages and leads a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses
Building relationships with other business teams. This position will work closely with the senior US Consumer Analytics Leadership team and the corresponding Global Analytics and Info Management leadership team in their planning, definition and execution of organizational
Partners directly with various players across analytics and partner groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan
Formulates and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion
Helps to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
Establishes best practices and principles for the US Consumer Analytics org's work streams
Financial control - In conjunction with the team - understands the complexities of the department Profit and Loss (P&L); appropriate accruals, client allocations in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Program/Project Management - Help provide governance and oversight of the business critical milestone reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes
Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process.
Communication - Work with the team and respective USCA leaders and key stakeholders on the communication strategy of important and critical initiatives for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required

Analytical and conceptual thinker with ability to lead business transformation. Apply project management and agile methodology, and uses sound understanding of theories and practices in multiple deliverables.
Lead strategic planning for various program level initiatives consisting of multiple sub projects with significant potential impacts on multiple business and operations areas
10+ years’ experience in managing global and complex programs with multiple stake holders and business functions
Prior work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting
Awareness of best-in-class tools and technology platforms to ensure USCA maintains a deep understanding and connection with advancements in the data science space
Strong business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem solving capabilities
Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills to engage with C-Suite leadership, and demystify technical intricacies in language and context relevant to a broader audience
Financial acumen to shape the economic implications of decisions driven by advanced analytical data models
Demonstrable leadership acumen that inspires and challenges teammates to deliver positive change in complex, heavily-matrixed organizations is required. This leader must challenge boundaries and legacy processes to shape the culture of the micro and macro team
Bachelor’s/University degree, in finance, technology, computer science, engineering, or economics
PMI – Project Management Professional
Master’s degree in Business or Operations preferred
