As a part of Company’s Financial Solutions business, Company Bank, a division of Company, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.
The Trust Account Review Analyst will be responsible for executing administrative account reviews for agency accounts held at Company Trust. *Per the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), all discretionary accounts must be reviewed initially within a reasonable amount of time after account opening and then periodically, thereafter.
Reviews include validating details such as the following: the information on the client agreement; account titling and classification; fee schedule and any discounts; statement information; beneficiaries; required minimum distributions (IRA specific).
•Completing assigned reviews; expected to complete high volumes with minimal errors.
•Identifying as exceptions any review questions that cannot be completed by the review due date.
•Contacting the Trust Assistant and/or Trust Administrator to follow up on any exceptions outstanding or any questions needing clarification.
•Updating the status for each review assigned.
•Learning the procedures governing account reviews.
•Working with the Business Supervision and Controls (BSC) team to ensure the appropriate reporting is in place for internal audits and committee meetings.
•Creating and/or updating the account synopsis for the client facing team.
•Continuously look for opportunities to streamline or automate the overall process; suggest ways to improve the process.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•Experience using Trust systems for administration, recordkeeping, and/or reviews
•Excellent written and oral communications.
•Ability to manage strong workloads and balance assignments
•Organizational and time management skills
•Ability to prioritize and respond to requests quickly and efficiently.
•Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
•Flexible for a work location of either Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO
•1 year experience in the financial services industry in a support or operations role
•1 year experience as a Trust Assistant or Trust Administrator preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree preferred
