In this role, you will verify deal representation in risk management systems for deals involving verification against Broker confirmations, Blotters, Recaps and other sources. You will also monitor electronic confirmation matching via ICE eConfirm and EFETnet platforms and generate ISDA, NAESB, WSPP, EEI and other industry standard confirmations as well as long-form bespoke confirmations for non-standard products. You will handle counterparty responses to confirmations/contracts as well as receive/review/respond to third-party paper and generate and review exception reports, including unconfirmed trades, outstanding payables/receivables, settlement & inventory breaks. Your ability to identify areas of improvement across systems, processes / procedures in order to increase accuracy/efficiency and expand output as well as appropriately handling deviation, exceptions while prudently escalating any control breakdown or incident to senior management will serve you well in this role
We need someone with strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A motivated, self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are key, as well as the ability to follow procedures and act with a high level of personal accountability and ownership of the role. The candidate must have capability working in a fast paced environment and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous exposure to financial markets is a plus.
