To work directly with students (individual, staff, class) by providing instruction, training, consultation and support services within specifically assigned curriculum/program/service areas.
Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation: Provides technical assistance and consultation to students for curriculum integration, classroom organization and hardware set-up, use and maintenance/repairs. Assists in the selection and purchase of hardware, software and supportive technology equipment. Researches and previews hardware, software supportive technology equipment and related education Company websiteps and maintains library of hardware, software, supportive technology equipment and educational materials for staff. Plans and implements a program that meets students’ needs, interests and abilities and goals and complies with State Department of Education minimum standards and District objectives. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum program or service goals. Establishes clear objectives for all workshops, training, sessions, lessons, assignments, units and projects, and communicates these objectives to students. Organizes and instructs/facilitates workshops, training sessions, lessons, assignments, units and projects. Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest level of students. Establishes and maintains standards of appropriate behavior and discipline needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere. Evaluates the learning progress on a regular basis and provides progress reports, prescribes effective programs and/or initiates referrals to appropriate agency personnel when appropriate. Utilizes instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

Interpersonal skills with diverse populations in-person and on the telephone. Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects. Ability to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects and coordinate the work of others. Knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of all laws, regulations and guidelines affecting teachers and students. Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques. Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents, community members and staff.
Required: Bachelors Company websitet New Mexico Level 2 or Level 3 teaching license 200 or 500 with technology endorsement. Proficient computer and supportive education technology Company website years of teaching experience.
