Senior Product Manager, Store Systems
About The Team
You will be a key member of the Stores Technology Product Management team that is responsible for continuous improvement of Stores Technology experiences and removing friction points for our internal and external customers.
Work with various Business and IT teams to scope, facilitate and implement the Store Systems -Roadmap including measuring feature effectiveness and value
Work with Senior Management to help define Store Systems Roadmap
Recommends and evaluates Store Systems initiatives, functionality and feature enhancements
Develop business/product requirements for new Store Systems initiatives and facilitate the review and approval process
Serve as primary liaison between Technology and Business teams
Facilitates definition and management of project scope/product requirements and subsequent change requests
Partner with IT Project Managers to lead the execution of Store Systems projects
Attend project meetings and provide status reports to the business team
Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of daily project issues
Educate Business teams on product/project recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing
Assist in the definition and implementation of new processes as they relate to new features
Gather, track and report metrics and key performance indicators for new initiatives, features and functionality
Educate business team on new application and processes related to platform and feature enhancements and ensure team is equipped and trained appropriately
Evaluates alternative operational efficiencies and business process change
Track and report on issues and solutions and escalates where appropriate
Provide support to various Business and IT teams when necessary
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field of work
Requires a minimum of 5 years Product Management experience
Ability to interface with varied business as well as IT/technical teams
Strong interpersonal skills - team player and demonstrated ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping projects on time and on budget
Strong drive towards results and execution; can-do attitude
Cross Channel / Omni Channel experience preferred
Knowledge of Systems development processes and product management as a discipline
Knowledge of web site development processes and product management as a discipline
Hands on Retail, eCommerce, Mobile or Catalog systems experience needed.
Experience with testing software and/or web products.
High skill set in project management software (i.e.: Excel, Word, MS project, Outlook, Visio)
Knowledgeable on technical data analysis, functional design, modeling and system development processes and software testing.
Customer focused with high quality standards.
Must possess strong presentation skills.
