Security needs to come right alongside this trend with the same devops style and mindset. We must offer compelling security solutions to our Ops colleagues who are heads down focused on being lean and agile while utilizing devops and CI/CD. We want professionals who have this same focus. And we are going to build and own platforms that help implement security solutions, collect, analyze, and alert on the vulnerabilities and threats to our business environments.

Responsibilities
● Support applications from inception through deployment and beyond.
● Scale security by reducing manual processes and the time it takes to lower risk.
● Automate risk decisions by building self service tools.
● Operate continuous monitoring tools to report on the compliance and stability of our platforms and services.
● Operate continuous detection and response infrastructure supporting real time attack mitigation.
● Proactively keep business resources secure through better measurement and automated response.
● Building security and configurations as code.
● Automation!
Skills
● Fluent in at least two of the following: Python, Ruby, Javascript, Perl, or Java.
● Versed in Linux/Unix operating systems.
● Familiarity with SQL.
● Experience with XML and JSON APIs (creation and ingesting).
● Working knowledge of open source tools such as Chef, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, ELK, Hadoop.
● Experience working in public cloud environments, specifically AWS.
Qualifications
Experience
● Supporting large scale server environments, preferably in the cloud.
● Upgrading, hardening, patching and installing software.
● Ensuring maximum uptime and availability of all applications.
● Troubleshooting and configuration management.
● Participating in on-call rotation and be willing to work off hours as required.
● BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
