DUTIES: Work with a wide range of customers and partners to drive achievement of key milestones leading to a healthy customer that is likely to renew, expand, and recommend USM to friends and colleagues. Assist in the technical prequalification and design to ensure that customers are optimizing the deployment and management of our security solutions. Challenge customers and partners to leverage the unified security insights & security solutions to manage their network more effectively. Manage and engage with customers to prioritize technical sales opportunities from prequalification, discovery, and design. Clearly articulate the benefits of Company Cyber Security & SaaS platform to all levels, including a line of business managers. Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements, as needed. Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal Salesforce automation system. Ensure customers and partners are implemented, deployed and live on the Company Manage Security & USMA solution. Analyze customer’s usage information, develop and recommend modifications required on the software development for a healthy-optimal usage strategy. Utilize advanced technical knowledge of USMA to assist users with deployment, configuration issues, and provide solutions for more complex technical needs. Maintain cloud infrastructure and manage cloud hypervisors and servers. Monitor system uptime, services uptime and application uptime. Utilize Hyper-V, VMware, Azure or AWS. Utilize endpoint protection, email security, or mobile security solutions. Utilize firewall configurations, such as: Palo Alto, CheckPoint or Barracuda. Utilize SaaS. Perform administration of Unix/Linux systems, low-layer (packet level) IP networking, utilizing knowledge of network security. Utilize UNIX shell, Perl and Python. Travel required up to 20% of the time.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience maintaining cloud infrastructure and managing cloud hypervisors and servers; monitoring system uptime, services uptime and application uptime; utilizing Hyper-V, VMware, Azure or AWS; utilizing endpoint protection, email security, or mobile security solutions; utilizing firewall configurations, such as: Palo Alto, CheckPoint or Barracuda; utilizing SaaS; performing administration of Unix/Linux systems, low-layer (packet level) IP networking, utilizing knowledge of network security; utilizing UNIX shell, Perl and Python. Travel required up to 20% of the time.
