We are looking for a highly motivated and razor sharp Technical Program Manager to drive our business-critical, high-impact Shopping initiatives. You’ll work with Engineering and Product teams to quickly scale technical offerings, take advantage of business opportunities and deliver real value to pinners and our partners. We’re looking for a TPM to lead and execute here - focusing on Shopping Ads and the ecosystem around them - ingestion, display, formats, as well as helping build the future of Shopping @ Company - if that sounds like fun, we’d love to hear from you! The ideal candidate has experience in a Shopping ecosystem or Ads experience, particularly as Program Management coordinating a cross-functional organization. You should eat risk, be customer obsessed, and mitigate issues before they arise.
What you'll do:
Identify opportunities and implement solutions to delight pinners, scale our technical & product offerings and improve the processes to deliver value to partners
Drive complex cross-functional projects to deliver new products, features and improvements
Establish effective cross-functional processes to anticipate, understand, prioritize and exceed the desires, needs and requirements of both pinners and partners
Build clear and transparent communication channels to align internal stakeholders and ensure that relevant audiences receive accurate, consistent and trustworthy information about Company initiatives and offerings
Work with stakeholders and effectively execute all aspects of the program management lifecycle, from conception and planning through execution, delivery, support and deprecation
What we're looking for:
BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (4+ years in a technical or analytical role)
6+ years experience in a technology strategy or management role (product manager, program manager or technical management consultant)
Comfort with a fast-changing environment and ability to manage ambiguity
Focus on execution and delivery in a data-informed environment
Excellent exec comms and ability to work cross-functionally
Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, and ability to persuade others to accomplish program objectives while holding yourself and your team to a high standard of accountability
Experience in Ads, Shopping Ads, Shopping Ecosystems, Monetization, Buying, Pricing, or Marketplaces. Ideally some creator/partner-driven experience
Initiative and drive - ability to proactively identify issues, risks and opportunities
Ideal candidates have lots of stories of the type ‘no one saw this, but I did, raised it, fixed it, and led enduring change
Strong technical breadth and judgement - ability to quickly ramp up and go deep on a range of technologies, ability to identify technical risks and tradeoffs
