Technical Architect (Web), IS - Customer Accounts

As a Technical Architect for IS Client & Retirement Accounts, you will have the ability to demonstrate technical leadership across two diverse and highly collaborative teams. Together we develop and support all of the systems and operational processes that allow Company to open and maintain over 12,000,000 customer accounts.
What You'll Do
•Provide leadership related to technical aspects of developer tools, methodologies, best practices and processes and standards that apply to their technical area of expertise.
•Research technical improvements and take the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.
•Determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements while applying technology to business use cases.
•Actively mentor and train other associates in their area of expertise.
•Perform research and develop proof of concepts; assist in the deployment of new technologies.
•Represent the team as the subject matter expert in multiple technology disciplines.
•Keep abreast of current developments and trends in multiple areas of expertise, including Java, Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud, and Java.

What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems preferred or related work experience.
10+ years of experience across multiple technology areas with at least 3 years of architecture experience on complex distributed systems.
7+ years designing, developing and delivering application solutions for enterprise level development and integration projects.
Practical knowledge of Microservices and designing/building REST APIs.
Technical leadership experience demonstrating the ability to create a strong team environment and build technical skills through training and mentoring.
