Company is currently looking for a Tax Operations Coordinator for our Indianapolis, IN practice. The candidate must be highly organized, display a quick ability to learn, pay attention to detail and enjoy a variety of work assignments in a fast-paced, team culture.
Client service responsibilities:
Prepare no tax due extensions
Prepare quarterly estimate calculations
Prepare and monitor notice responses
Resolve electronic file rejects
Monitor reviewer dashboard for open items
Build and manage the Tax department schedule
Serve as local expert for scheduling tools
Coordinate scheduling meetings
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinate various trainings and technical support for Tax department
Recruiting/interns: assist with various recruiting projects; coordinate intern training and feedback
Support office Tax Director with various responsibilities and initiatives
Schedule and organize Tax department outings and social events
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients and staff
Strong customer focus with internal and external clients
Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with regular interruptions
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and ability to adapt to multiple technology platforms
Knowledge of professional services environment preferred
Ability to work extensive overtime during peak times (February – April and August – October; average 60 hours per week including Saturdays)
Work in the office on a regular basis unless arranged in advance; must work during core hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
