We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Systems, Strategic Initiatives Project Manager to join our Supply Chain Management Team. This position can be located in either our West Valley, UT or Houston, TX office.
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts and strategic initiatives across the Supply Chain Department. Projects may include application direction, sourcing strategies, data analytics, third party risk management and other enterprise projects. Establishes and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. The successful candidate should have proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills are musts. The candidate must also possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable drawing metrics-based conclusions by leveraging and interpreting data. The right candidate stays on top of industry regulatory guidance and can execute at both a strategic and tactical level to drive compliance and savings, while ensuring a best-in-class line of business experience.

Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards
Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers
Coordinates communication with all areas that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
Design, implement, evaluate and audit project management processes and templates
Deliver initiatives on time, on budget, and within scope
Provide regular status updates including reporting obstacles or variances that cannot be resolved that would impede the delivery of the initiative on time and within budget
May work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure project completion
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related degree
4+ years’ experience in project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and changes management practices and techniques or other directly related experience
Working knowledge of project management, including scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management
Experience in solution identification and assessment, vendor selection, and creation of business and financial case
Ability to influence cross-functional teams across multiple geographies High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Ability to use hard data and metrics to guide decision making and develop business cases.
Ability to clearly communicate these data insights to others
Proven ability to understand, analyze, distill and communicate ambiguous issues
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. This position will require frequent written presentations to senior executives
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where continuous innovation is desired.
Proven ability to deliver results for complex or ambiguous problems
Ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the landscape in which we operate
