Supports Director/Manager function by supervising the planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring and evaluation of work planning and completing in one or more of department modalities including; Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine/PET. Coordinates provision of imaging services as an integrated component of imaging and technical resource for the modality. In absence of department director or manager fulfills that role for department including addressing patient, physician and staff concerns.
Under the direction of a physician and with little supervision, performs procedures, using equipment designed for requested procedure. Provides health care services as needed, using radiographic, computed axial tomography, magnetic resonance, interventional radiology, mammography, ultrasound and or nuclear medicine and PET to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Performs procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides patient care and recognizes essential critical thinking skills needed for successful completion of procedure. Participates in on-call duty as needed

Require Licensure and Certifications
Graduate of a Radiology, Ultrasonography or Nuclear Medicine program.
BLS required upon hire. Please refer to policy “Licensed, Certified, and Registered Employees” for acceptable Life Support cards.
Board Certified in Radiology by the ARRT, or ARDMS certified, or NMTCB certified.
Must hold a valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in North Dakota if certified by ARRT.
Licensed in the State of North Dakota as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, if NMTCB and working in ND
Require Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture’s as required for position
Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members
Minimum 3 year experience leadership experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
ARRT Board Certified in MR within one year of hire, if appropriate
ARRT Board Certified in CT within one year of hire, if appropriate
ARRT Board Certified in Mammography within one year of hire, if appropriate
