The Superintendent’s position for Company located in Baker Hill, Alabama, oversees all stages of people, products and cost related activities to the production in the departments of further processing.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
Concentrates management efforts to provide a high quality product and services to internal and external customers.
Provide a safe working environment complying with the company safety performance audit program by providing safety training to employees and conducting safety inspections on a regular basis.
Manage departments on a team based environment in order to reach higher efficiency and company yield goals.
Ensure compliance of USDA and HACCP by conducting audits and providing further training.
The ideal candidate:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 4-Year College Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in poultry industry with minimum 2 years’ management/supervisory experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Computer skills including MS Office Suite.
