A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help Company in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing Company’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your Company brand
Job Requirements and Preferences:
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma
Minimum Years of Experience:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in financial reporting, operational analysis, and financial statement preparation and special projects support to management.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Providing financial reporting and assisting leaders in the areas of project maintenance, cost management, and operational analysis; - Preparing financial statements/supporting schedules and metrics used to determine tax liability and minimize risk exposure; - Providing comprehensive analytical and technical assistance to team; - Working with management to resolve issues and report potential issues that may impact foreign source revenues/income and VAT filings; - Communicating effectively with internal customers to thoroughly understand their requirements and helping to establish that customers' needs are met; - Establishing system and process enhancements, process flows and operating procedures for service areas; - Analyzing the quality of work product within the team and making necessary modifications; - Developing changes and/or additions to existing reporting packages; - Preparing and distributing standard and/or ad hoc financial reports; - Providing management with assistance on complex technical and/or analytical matters, and accounting functions; - Building and maintaining relationships with business partners, finance leaders and stakeholders; and, - Utilizing advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint leveraged to provide impactful analysis of data.
