The Testing team is responsible for managing the product testing arm of the in-store testing team. As a member of the Testing Team, this person will work with various cross functional teams to strategize, implement & analyze in-store style, assortment, & floorset product, fixture and pricing tests for all brands. They will be responsible for the reporting and interpretation of test results and will have occasional opportunities to present to brand leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, collaborative, highly organized, and a strong communicator. The successful candidate must be an innovative problem solver and analytical thinker with a strong sense of urgency.
What will you be doing?
Consulting with Merchandising & Planning teams on test strategy & design to ensure successful set-up to allow teams to read results to impact key business decisions
Coordinating successful implementation of the test in stores through daily communication with cross-functional partners
Building, pulling, analyzing, and interpreting test reporting based on success criteria/metrics determined during test strategy & design conversations
Meeting with stakeholders to review test results to confirm understanding of results and alignment on takeaways and action items
Effectively communicate results to management and cross functional partners on a regular basis
Ad hoc analysis based on special project requests regarding test process
Managing Associate Test Analyst to assist in test implementation and reporting while developing Associate’s design & analytical skills to further their career development
Traveling ~4x/year (1-2 day trips) for in-store test sign-offs
Track ongoing success metrics for product testing and relate them to return on investment
What will you need to bring?
5+ years in Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management or equivalent experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of basic statistics
Highly organized and detail oriented
Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to handle significant responsibility
Humble, team-oriented and optimistic
Passion for the A&F brand
Knowledge of APT or other statistical testing software a plus
Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
