Structured Settlement Product Manager
As Product Manager in CI Claims Supplier Management team, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing the Structured Settlement program across the enterprise of Company Worker Compensation and Liability claims teams. This role is directly responsible for the management, development and education of the structured settlement program.
The preferred location is Boston or any US Claims office with some flexibility to work remotely.
Collaborates on structured settlement utilization with Claims teams across the enterprise and works to build business solutions using broker partners.
Continuously monitors the broker and Life company marketplace capabilities to identify potential enhancements and opportunities for product improvement based on findings and champions product innovation.
Report Structured Settlement results, developments, and trends to field operations across the enterprise.
Educate, train, and support claims adjusters and defense attorneys (staff and panel) on the use of structured settlements
Assessment and continued monitoring of life companies and broker marketplace to ascertain who should be on the respective panels.
Presents analyses, recommendations and results to management.
Develops and manages relationship with assigned key suppliers to sustain thorough knowledge of current activity and prospective business opportunities. Facilitates supplier meetings and reviews. Ensures contract terms and service levels are being adhered to. Conducts supplier audits in conjunction with Claims QA team.
Manages vendor interface with internal customers to implement internal change processes
Extensive knowledge of structured settlements with a minimum of 5-7 years of claims experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Successfully accomplishes objectives using persuasion, motivation and inspiration
Strong decision making, judgment, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Demonstrates an independent sense of urgency.
Collaborative disposition with a proven ability to influence leadership and indirect peers.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.
Advanced management degree or business certification a strong preference.
