Strategic Relationship Manager
The Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for the quality, health, growth and profitability of the company’s relationships with its clients by ensuring that our services and solutions are delivered in alignment with that client’s objectives and key strategies. Success is measured in client satisfaction, retention, growth, and profitability. This role is key to the retention and growth of books of business during the transition time when the book is open due to movement of Account Management resources (internal or external attrition, leave of absences).

Garner and maintain a thorough understanding of the services in order to provide a high level of support to clients
Troubleshoot client issues
Receive and respond to clients’ telephone and written requests; act as a liaison between clients and appropriate internal departments to serve the client
Assess client needs and be the client champion in order to develop service programs and communication paths between client and appropriate internal departments
Review and resolve compliance issues with client and appropriate internal departments
Collaborate with internal partners (operations, pricing, legal, ect) to solve client problems and provide solutions for the client
Close Open Renewals and New Services timely
Upsell and Cross-sell
Average revenue SRM is responsible for is $6M- $10M
Onboard new Account Managers (ISS, Strategic), introduce to the client and handoff
Provide leadership to all internal delivery teams by communicating the overall objectives and strategies for the account and outlining clear initiatives and timeframes to achieve them.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field or equivalent job experience
5+ years of B2B experience required plus 5-7 years in a account management or client support role preferred
The ability to prioritize multiple work projects and function independently from supervision to meet deadlines
Well formulated, grammatically correct written correspondence
Understanding and practical application of various software applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SalesLogix or other contact database
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills – critical thinking
Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude
Knowledge and practical application of Solution Selling and Large Account Management methodologies, processes, and concepts is preferred

This is role will be located in either Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA. 35-50% travel in various locations across the United States.
