As a State and Local Tax Senior Staff your role will include identifying and implementing unclaimed property planning and consulting solutions to our diverse client base. Working in a highly interactive team environment you will participate in the consultation process for clients with the goal of delivering an outstanding client experience. Researching client issues and regularly communicating findings with managers is a vital part of this role; therefore, strong social and communication skills are vital. Mentoring Staff and interns will contribute to the continued success of the team. As a Senior Staff you will be an integral part of the team delivering outstanding client service in a dynamic team environment. BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or JD is a plus.
CPA, eligible to sit for CPA, or admittance to a state bar required.
Strong time management, organization, and social skills.
Minimum of three (3) years of forward-thinking experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.
Experience in unclaimed property, state and local tax, or financial auditing.
Ability to grow strong client and team relationships.
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
