Job Description & Qualifications

Review forward model die process and design to incorporate lessons learned from prior launches
Follow die construction and launch process, delivering tools that meet or exceed all safety, quality, and cost targets
Conduct data reviews at key milestones with Body Construction and Product Development teams, aligning on priorities and work plans to support build events
Develop Scope of Work, negotiate costs, and follow work at tooling shops. Provide direction on work plans, approve quality levels, and support wherever necessary.
Conduct buyoff of stamping tools and checking fixtures
Ensure good die conditions, deliver safe FLD, coordinate dimensional corrections, surface treatment, and other key tooling deliverables
Track and resolve issues during production launch to achieve PSW and Rate of Climb objectives
Other activities as required to support Best in World launches
Follow Launch Quality Operating System (LQOS)
High School Diploma
10+ Years Manufacturing / Stamping Experience
Ability to travel: 50% (possibly more) including Canada and Mexico. Could include global travel with trips lasting 2 consecutive weeks to support quality initiatives as well as new model launches
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
