Who We Are: Want to help customers control and secure access to some of the most sensitive data on the cloud? AWS Identity team builds the secure identity, access, and resource management foundation for customers to scale in the AWS Cloud.
Why It Matters: AWS Identity team owns a handful on internal programs with the primary goal of helping customers securely control and manage access to AWS resources worldwide. We are looking for a technical program manager (TPM) to own large-scale programs that involve managing programs across multiple AWS services. By joining the AWS Identity team, you will work on massively scalable, core technologies used for authentication and authorization to all AWS services (such as Company EC2, Company S3, and Company DynamoDB). You don’t have to be an expert in AWS architecture, but this is a great opportunity to become one!
Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for customer focused leaders with proven ability to execute technical cross-functional programs, who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects.
This position involves diving deep into the project goal, technical challenges, business value and core deliverables. You will identify the stakeholders, key metrics, create your own strategy, drive the progress, proactively identify and eliminate risks, own reporting and communication, including presenting to senior leadership. TPMs handle complex inter-team dependencies and bridge the gaps in technical management. You will work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and customer support.

5+ years of experience in technical program management, or similar technical leadership role with demonstrated experience managing complex programs involving multiple engineering teams
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related fields, or equivalent experience
Experience in defining and implementing automation opportunities within an operational environment
Strong technical background, experience working with large amount of data, excellent problem-solving abilities
Experience in identity or security
Software engineering experience
