Company is looking for a Sr. Product Manager in our TV Marketing Technology group to revolutionize products and processes for our TV Marketing organizations across NBC, USA, SYFY, Bravo, E!, and more.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with programmatic marketing toolsets, business intelligence and creating/delivering a multi-year strategic roadmap to lean and digitize this rapidly evolving business.
The immediate task at hand is to accelerate the simplification of media Insertion Orders and accompanying media invoices through automation and reporting. The candidate will also be responsible for consolidating legacy custom-developed products into existing SaaS product offerings in the marketplace.
This role requires partnership across brands to uncover and support business processes, gather requirements and document needs. The Sr. Product Manager will be able to work unsupervised and keep their manager, the Director of TV Marketing Technology, aware of pertinent updates, blockers, and beyond. A successful candidate will be self-sufficient, know when to ask for help, have a strong analytical mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills and a passion for customer focus and software.
Specific responsibilities include –
Primary technology point of contact for Consumer Marketing stakeholders across all TV entertainment brands.
Support and partner with Marketing team members to define business processes, gather and document project requirements and clearly communicate project statuses to all stakeholders.
Work closely and effectively with a matrix team of consultants and engineers to scope project solutions, develop implementation plans, deliver solutions and provide business/product support.
Establish a multi-year roadmap for Consumer Marketing teams with all stakeholders’ input and support.
Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity to help deliver quick and actionable results.
Ensure effective and open communication with all business partners to enable project work and ensure business needs and requirements are met successfully.
Communicate and troubleshoot efficiently with non-technical users.
Provide occasional off-hours support address outages, special events and pressing system issues.
•Minimum of 5 years previous relevant work experience; ideally with experience in research, product strategy, or marketing strategy at a large network/publisher/agency
•Minimum of 3 years of Client-facing product management experience
•Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
•Demonstrated requirements analysis and delivery (i.e. conducting user interviews, documenting requirements, confirming requirements and implementing the solution)
•Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and analysis skills
•Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented and professional
•Collaborative team player who is accustomed to working with many different people
•Energetic and a people person with high emotional intelligence
•Ability to travel to other NBCU offices, such as New York City
•Ability to manage through competing/conflicting requests and obtain consensus
