DESCRIPTION
Woot! is the original daily deals website and continues its longstanding tradition of having people look at our work and say "hey that shouldn't work, what on earth are you doing?" If you're still reading, hopefully it’s because you’re as ridiculous as we are and want to help us find ways to entertain folks while also giving them new and fun ways of hunting for deals on products at prices that perplex them in a positive way.
If you're an experienced product manager bored of the norm who loves getting into the minds of unique customer segments, wants to own an entire experience across multiple properties (app, web, Alexa, carrier pigeon), and also likes to get deep into the data to find new ways of reaching these audiences, we'd love to chat with you. You'll be working with all manner of folks from developers, to designers, marketers, vendor managers, data scientists, and so on from within both Woot! and Company more broadly. It'll be fun, it'll be an adventure, it'll be a roller coaster ride; and you'll be able to get a lot of stuff done fairly fast. Asking tough questions and challenging the status quo should feel second nature to you.
What you'll do:
- Look at data both internally and externally to find awesome ways of selling stuff, entertaining customers, and getting them to visit every day.
- Create creative, unconventional, and addictive experiences for both shopping and time-wasting on our app, our site, and Alexa.
- Drive the full product lifecycle of these experiences, from ideation to release.
- Identify and track relevant metrics for your initiatives, and report on them as needed.
- Work with other PMs to keep Woot’s product roadmap prioritized and in optimal shape
- Seek out new opportunities to grow Woot's business. Yeah, we gotta make a buck too.
