What you will be doing
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize inputs from our customers, prospects and partners and synthesize them into a clear and justifiable set of product requirements that will drive the development of our product vision.
• Translate business priorities into actionable, clearly communicated product stories for engineering.
• Provide leadership, as part of our product development process, representing the voice of the customer during product definition, product UI design and bug triage.
• Provide guidance and drive cross-functional initiatives & alignment with key partner. organizations (e.g., product marketing, technical field enablement, sales specialists and specialist systems engineers).
• Support large deals that require PM input where highly competitive or unusual scenarios exist.
• Drive and communicate competitive assessment on your product line and collaborate with the Sales channel to identify and address broad industry and product trends.
• Conduct pricing/packaging analysis.
• Guide and help execute on Marketing plans.
• Participate in and drive customer focus groups and feedback sessions.
• Provide assistance for customer escalations to quickly resolve customer satisfaction issues.
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed
• 4 year college degree in a technical or business-related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is desired.
• 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise software package or large scale SaaS/cloud solution.
• Strong self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced software development environment.
• Demonstrated record of defining and launching software products or SaaS services.
• Proficient at building strong relationships with engineering and cross-functional development teams.
• Strong customer-facing skill and ability to present product roadmap and lead technical discussions.
• Strong awareness of technology trends and their potential influence.
• Proficient in IT infrastructure technologies, especially messaging and collaboration.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills that can be applied in a fast moving environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation.
• Project management skills with experience to manage/influence geographically cross functional teams to deliver software releases.
• Enterprise and large enterprise segment experience (both direct and indirect) a plus.
• Strong marketing skills, proficient at crafting easy-to-consume messaging that is compelling and that drives action.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
