What You'll Do
You will lead the strategic planning and operations the Global Relationship and Scale Marketing organization reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing and Planning at Company. Success in this role is measured on your ability achieve transformational objectives by working at a strategic and operational level to standardize our planning process to ensure efficiency, accountability, collaboration, transparency and strong decision-making. That can be split into four main buckets.
Planning: ensure the right initiatives get prioritized and funded as required; identify measures of success
Governance: design and manage an operational framework to execute, track and monitor results
Program Management: manage the internal business review meetings and support workstream owners to follow the process and control the quality of their execution
Internal Communications: build and execute the organization’s internal communication plan and manage QBR process
More detailed responsibilities across these four priorities include:
Standardize the teams’ planning process to align to key stakeholders’ planning timelines
Define success metrics and reporting cadence to various stakeholders (together with Strategy)
Work with Strategy team to handle intake of ideas and prioritize initiatives based on business needs
Identify and handle interdependencies
Monitor and balance capacity to execute initiatives
Define and lead program stage-gate process
Manage governance forums and processes
Establish and maintain the program calendar, forums, and templates
Establish tracking, issue/impediment, and risk management processes
Make progress transparent to the organization
Conduct high quality initiative and post-implementation reviews
Manage organizational cadence (set agendas and run meetings to support the operational framework)
Translate the operational framework procedures to workstream leads and members to ensure alignment and understanding
Track key priorities, initiatives, and action items while providing visibility to leadership
Partner with leadership to ensure strong internal communications– develop key communications when required such as newsletters
Build and deliver the global organization’s QBR structure, cadence, and templates
Who You'll Work With
You will work with cross functional teams within global marketing, as well stakeholders across other marketing teams and regions.
Within global marketing you will partner with Strategy leads on planning and with the program teams for execution.
Who You Are
BS or equivalent, MBA a plus
10+ years experience in planning and or/program management of marketing programs. Prefer that you have managed portfolio sizes >100M
Organizational skills - Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide range of inputs, exceptional process management, and high attention to detail
Communications - Strong written, power point and verbal communications skills
Business Management – You have a broad business understanding – this role covers all aspects of Company and it’s necessary to be able to connect the dots and manage consistent execution of monthly business processes
Business Intelligence/ Reporting – ability to define key business metrics and required reporting
Program Management – lead key business initiatives
Collaboration - work collaboratively in complex cross functional environments
Experience delivering results in an environment with ambiguous processes and multiple stakeholders
Self starter and collaborator with strong gravitas and presentation skills. You are accustomed to presenting and communicating with senior leaders and comfortable with saying no to ensure maintained alignment to the strategic investments.
