DESCRIPTION
Sr. Manager of Sponsorship Operations is responsible for everything from strategic business planning to daily reporting and operations for the Global Sponsorship Team. This role works with the Director of Global Sponsorships to design, manage and grow the business processes to run the organization. They are responsible for forecasting against quotas and goals, budget allocation and management, systems implementation, revenue tracking and reporting, goal definition and tracking. In this role, you will establish best practices, procedural rigor, operational and process improvement, and analytical insights.
Our ideal candidate has developed excellent analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen, and exceptional written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate is data-driven and possesses a strong understanding of marketing KPIs. They are adept at building models, reports and tools with a deep understanding of the underlying analytics, and the ability to assimilate new methodologies and data sources. They will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead organizational goal setting, reporting and tracking, and operational processes
- Develop a standardized sponsorship planning and reporting cadence at the Global, GEO, country, program and individual event level
- Own process for annual resource planning, allocation, and tracking headcount and budget
- Oversee global contracting and invoicing process for the global sponsorship team. Lead team in sourcing new tools and developing scalable processes
- Own sponsorship management tool evaluation and implementation
- Develop and distribute monthly reporting with analysis of results and business impact
- Design and enhance global processes to measure program impact and program efficacy
- Engage with Partner team to create measurable shared goals and tracking
- Create process for gathering input for multiple reporting mechanisms, and report out as needed including monthly reports for sales and marketing leadership
- Lead vendor relationship negotiations, contracting and cost optimization
- Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
- Build reports and visualization dashboards in Tableau
Strong preference this role work in Seattle but open to work from any U.S. location with an Company Corporate Office. Relocation from within the U.S. is offered.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing operations leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience communicating (verbal and written) effectively with both business and technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
- Experience with project management and process improvement
- Experience with marketing tools, channels and activities, specifically the lead generation funnel
- Produce demand gen forecasts by evaluating seasonality, trends, marketing opportunities and upcoming campaigns
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Sales Finance, Business Development Operations or related field
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and go-to-market channels
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Expert level in Excel
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on ROI analysis and funnel optimization, hands on experience on measurement platform Tableau
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of sponsorship and event marketing
