Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Company as a key technology platform provider? As a Business Development Manager working with Company Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of emerging enterprise tools and technologies. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption, and market penetration working with partners and medium/large enterprise accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and program management background that enables him or her to engage with partners and help drive go-to-market initiatives and programs. He/she must also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Exceed set business objectives.
Develop and execute against a program plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Influence (or impact) customer adoption.
Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, Networking, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc) and Management Tools.
Develop case studies.
Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key partner and customer accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Expect moderate travel.
8 years of technology related sales or business development experience.
Direct field experience in working with top enterprise accounts and partners
Experience in driving go-to-market programs with partners and enterprise accounts
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required.
BA/BS degree required. Masters or MBA a plus.
10 to 15 years of technology related sales or business development experience.
Strong technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required.
Prior experience working in the enterprise software, SaaS or a related industry is highly desired
