Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Work with the Product Owner to understand “what needs to be built”. Deconstruct these product features into self-contained stories with precise acceptance criteria.
Lead the agile teams during iterations to drive delivery, manage scope and ensure end products appropriately meets business needs.
Participate in release train and team ceremonies, such as Release Planning, Retros and Backlog Grooming
Perform detailed systems analysis (queries, etc) to understand and confirm current business rules/processes.
Fosters a high-performing team by focusing on ever-improving team dynamics and performance.
Helps the team manage conflicts, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Remove roadblocks to team delivery. Actively identify and addresses issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving their objectives.
Escalates problems to management where necessary, but only after internal team processes have failed to resolve the issue.

The Risk Control Technology Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of desired business capabilities to deconstruct them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria consumable by an agile team. This individual serves as a leader providing a critical bridge between our Product Owners and IT Agile team. You should be enthusiastic about working in a fast paced, multi-disciplined, innovative and highly dynamic environment. Three years of experience in Business Systems or equivalent required High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Five years of experience in Business Systems or equivalent preferred. Bachelors degree in Business, MIS or other related field preferred.

Superior analysis, problem solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is preferred.
5+ years of application development experience. Experience in multiple roles preferred.
Knowledge of relational database design and SQL queries
Experience driving delivery within an agile development methodology (SAFe, etc) is preferred
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate thoughts/designs/ideas in an unambiguous manner and adjusts communication based on audience.
Business and Application Knowledge: Ability to use existing resources and participate in experiences to gain understanding of the business and supporting applications. Able to apply this knowledge to application solutions.
Problem Solving & Decision Making: Able to proficiently diagnose root causes and solve complex problems independently. Has the ability to reach sound decisions quickly and escalates appropriately.
Team Orientation: Able to maintain and enhance partnerships across the organization to achieve objectives.
Leadership: Accountable to lead team to meet release commitments. Exhibits team leadership and collaborates with partners.
