Company’s Global PRT business is currently seeking to expand its business team. The Manager, Product Management & Development will be charged with the coordination of activities across functional units in support of Company's Longevity Risk Transfer (LRT) efforts, which is the international component of Company’s rapidly growing global business. These activities include coordinating the bid process and the team’s preparation for discussions with market intermediaries and counterparties on live transaction opportunities. The successful candidate will support the team’s efforts to achieve aggressive business growth while maintaining an appropriately controlled operating environment. Product development and management responsibilities may include leading organizational readiness for the roll-out of LRT activities for risks in new jurisdictions.
Accountable for growth objectives – provide support to the cross-functional team in executing on product solutions that meet the needs of the LRT market
Drive environment of control – implement control process improvements across the entire business system. Specifically, with respect to the bid process and product development, ensuring that all cross-functional areas maintain appropriate documentation, procedures and controls
Support collaboration efforts to seize opportunities - coordinate activities of cross-functional areas supporting the International LRT business.
Build and maintain business processes supporting production of client materials - develop term sheets and other materials used to respond to LRT bid requests and establish cross-functional standards for responding to indicative quote requests and RFPs.
Minimum of 5 years financial services experience
Bachelor's degree required, MBA, CFA or related advanced degree is helpful.
Knowledge of the longevity reinsurance marketplace, key competitors, and industry trends is helpful.
Understanding of the Longevity Reinsurance product and the increasingly global market for pension and longevity risk transfer is preferred.
Excellent written communication and presentation development skills
Strong understanding of financial and risk analysis
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, influence and build consensus across functional teams
Demonstrated ability to think critically about the customer, the market, the competition.
Demonstrated ability to enhance and build strong relationships over time.
