Company Australia is seeking an ambitious and multi-talented person to drive Company’s exciting sports mission in Australia.
The Sports Partnership Manager will focus on driving reach, revenue and innovation for sports fans, strategic partners and sports stars. As a key part of Company Australia’s Content partnerships team, responsibilities include everything from high level evangelism to consultancy as well as providing creative input in all things Company to top clubs, associations, leagues, agencies and stars. You will have a passion for and knowledge of the Australian sporting landscape as well as be revenue-focussed. This role includes every level of service Company provides to its most important partners.
You should also have a detailed understanding of the wider digital and social landscape in Australia, including the rising eSports and Digital Creator communities.
You must be results oriented, self-directed and have an ambitious winning mentality. The role requires strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, partner diplomacy and experience with talent. You should have an excellent understanding of Company and be a very active user. The position is based in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
• Be a creative consultant for sporting organisations, clubs, broadcasters and other key partners to deliver the best Company strategy possible for their business.
• Deliver a clear audience-focussed strategy for reaching every sports fan in Australia.
• Drive revenue-generating opportunities and activations.
• Deliver innovative ways for Australian fans to engage with their favourite sports.
• Be responsible for generating case studies, data-driven analyses as well as documenting and distributing best practices.
• Handle a multitude of tasks in supporting sports partners and talent, ranging from high-end partner support to lower level administrative tasks.
• Roll out an eSports strategy and strategically engage with key digital creators in Australia.
• Work closely with our revenu and strategy teams to create compelling Company campaigns that drive revenue as well as audience reach.
Industry experience & Required Skills:
• At least 7 years experience in the sports industry, with a strong network across clubs, players and associations.
• Strong experience in driving sales and generating revenue.
• Confidence and experience working with and out-reaching to high profile talent.
• Exceptional communication skills in person and in writing, especially with high-level partners.
• Experience conducting data-driven analyses to drive your decision-making.
• Knowledge of the Australian eSports and Digital Creator communities.
• Stellar people skills.
• Strategic thinker who can reason through and execute on problems.
• Willingness to work weekends and nights while travelling around the country.
• Mastery of powerpoint, keynote, excel and all the other tools of business
